Health

AoC Sport collaborate with a range of key partners such as Sport England, Mind, Active Partnerships, and National Governing Bodies to promote physical and mental wellbeing among students. Our comprehensive approach applies evidence-based strategies to ensure a holistic impact on student health.

  • Sport England: Through our partnership with Sport England, we utilise Active Lives Data to track and analyse participation trends. This data-driven approach allows us to design and implement effective health and wellbeing programmes tailored to student needs.
  • Mind: In collaboration with Mind, we integrate the Five Ways to Wellbeing framework into our initiatives. This evidence-based approach promotes five key actions – Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning, and Give – to enhance health and resilience among students.
  • Active Partnerships and NGBs: Our work with Active Partnerships and National Governing Bodies enables us to deliver diverse and inclusive physical activity programmes. These partnerships provide students with opportunities to engage in various sports and physical activities, fostering a culture of health and wellbeing at colleges.

AoC Sport are committed to supporting colleges in creating an inclusive environment that prioritises the physical and mental health of students.
