Rising Leaders

Rising Leaders is a programme funded by The Football Association (The FA) and delivered by AoC Sport as part of their commitment to increase the diversity of female volunteers and to develop greater equality of opportunities to ensure that more diverse female volunteers aspire to work and volunteer within Football.

Residential 1

Thursday 31st October- Sunday 3rd November

Our first residential is designed to foster relationships among participants, facilitating an understanding of each others' values and future aspirations.

Residential 2

Friday 7th February- Sunday 9th February

We focus on a deeper exploration of participants’ past experiences with football and their impact. We also explore the history of women's football.

Residential 3

Saturday 10th May- Sunday 11th May

This weekend is to celebrate the participants' achievements throughout the season while expanding their professional networks to support continued growth beyond the Rising Leader programme.

If you would like any more information on the programme please contact Chelsea Mulheir, National Women's Football Development Officer.
