Regions
AoC Sport works with colleges across the nine English regions and Wales to develop and deliver competitive, recreational and volunteering opportunities for all students.
In England, we work closely with the Association of Colleges’ regional offices to provide training opportunities, quality improvement programmes, network meetings, events, and policy advice to help colleges maximise the impact of sport and physical activity.
Our staff have strong relationships with the AoC regional offices, and this ensures that member colleges’ views shape and influence our work at all levels.

Regional Network Meetings
AoC Sport Regional Network meetings provide a forum for professional exchange in an informal setting.
They are an opportunity to hear relevant updates from AoC Sport and external partners, support the exchange of good practice, and act as a springboard for collaborative development projects between colleges.
The network supports the development of all aspects of sport-related activity in colleges and forms a key regional component of AoC Sport’s wider strategic framework.
The network meetings are chaired by a practitioner from a member college and all members are encouraged to suggest agenda items and speakers they would like to hear from at meetings.
Each network is split into two sessions, the Heads of Sport meeting focuses on curriculum and strategic issues whilst the Operations meetings focuses on competition and sport development.

Regional Tournaments
Regional tournaments are open to students in AoC Sport member colleges and are held in the autumn term.
