College attendance rates surveys

AoC College Attendance Survey Report 2024

This survey was developed to support AoC’s policy work and to give colleges an indication of attendance rates across the sector, for different age groups and subject areas. The survey collected data for the autumn term 2023, and four-year trends. It aimed to gather information on overall student attendance rates, rates for the last four years, English and maths attendance, student attendance by subject area, reasons for poor attendance and interventions. There were also questions on staff absence.
