Craven College is an aspirational general further education college based on the outskirts of Skipton (North Yorkshire), delivering apprenticeships, 16-18 provision, adult skills, higher education, high needs and a wide portfolio of project work with employers and the unemployed. They also have sites in Ripon, Scarborough and at Leeds Bradford Airport. Craven College have some impressive facilities which include a new £1.6m Animal Management Centre (opened in 2018) as well as their unique Aviation Academy which is based at Leeds Bradford Airport allowing access to flying schools, technical instruction, expert careers advice and aviation knowledge. In progress, is their new Equine facility which is scheduled for 2020 and will include an international-sized arena and outdoor warm-up area.
