Current Opportunity: Assistant Principal (Quality) - Wirral Metropolitan College
Assistant Principal (Quality)
Wirral Metropolitan College
Salary: £51 662 – £63 524
AoC Create Executive Recuitment are delighted to be supporting Wirral Met College with the recruitment of an Assistant Principal (Quality)
Wirral Metropolitan College’s mission is to enhance economic prosperity through high quality, work-related education and training, supporting around 10,000 students every year.
The college operates from four modern, well-equipped campuses, including the newly built Wirral Waters campus, which is part of the largest regeneration project in Europe and is one of the UK Enterprise Zones. The college work closely with businesses and community partners to drive innovation, create opportunities for growth and provide industry-standard learning experiences. It also has sound finances and was graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in November 2017.
Following a three-year trajectory of improvement, Wirral Metropolitan is in an excellent position to push ahead and realise the goal of becoming an Outstanding college. Key to achieving this will be an impactful, results-focused Assistant Principal Quality, who will take ownership of quality cross-college and ensure that high standards are prioritised and consistently met. Reporting to the Vice Principal, the post-holder will drive quality improvement and assurance through robust analysis and targeted performance initiatives. In addition, they will be instrumental in championing excellence in teaching, learning and assessment, playing a lead role in developing our talented teaching and learning staff.
The successful candidate will have a passion for achieving standards and outcomes of the highest calibre, with a proven track record of delivering quality improvement in another college. They will be adept in using data to achieve results and have strong analytical and report writing skills, together with the ability to inspire others and embed an aspirational, results-driven culture.
This is a superb opportunity for an ambitious candidate to make an impact and gain experience for progression to Vice Principal and Principal posts.
