AoC welcomes opportunity to contribute to government infrastructure strategy

David Hughes CBE, Chief Executive of the Association of Colleges said: "AoC welcomes HM Treasury's invitation to offer views on a ten-year national infrastructure strategy and the recognition that colleges help create a sense of place and community as well as the skilled workforce which will be vital to deliver growth, support the expansion of the healthcare capacity and contribute to the energy transition. Colleges have the facilities to educate and train people for a changing economy but need to work with government to ensure these are suitable, sustainable and sufficient to support national skills priorities"
