AoC Sport teams up with the University of St Mark and St John

Marjons.jpg AoC Sport, the lead organisation for college sport and physical activity, today announced that it has renewed a partnership with the University of St Mark and St John. The deal will see AoC Sport and The University of St Mark and St John work together to promote, support and deliver college sport in the South West region and nationally. As an official higher education partner, the University of St Mark and St John will sponsor all AoC Sport South West Regional events and cup finals in 2015 as well as have a presence at all AoC Sport events and conferences. The agreement will also see the University work more closely with college sports staff in the region alongside AoC Sport, and provide use of their sports facilities for AoC Sport Regional championships and other events. Marcus Kingwell, Managing Director, AoC Sport said: "We’re delighted to be working with the University of St Mark and St John who are not only a leading university but one that understands the importance of college sport, and how the skills learnt through sport and physical activity can be transferrable in later life. The support we will receive from them will be invaluable, particularly in the South West region. I look forward to us teaming up to achieve our goals!"
