Understanding OfS’ E6 Condition on Harassment and Sexual Misconduct

The OfS’s new condition of registration (E6) on harassment and sexual misconduct comes into effect on 1 August 2025. The session will be led by an OfS speaker and will provide an overview of the condition and its requirements, as well as the implementation. It will cover topics including but not limited to:

• The key requirements of the condition
• The single source of information universities and colleges will need to produce and promote that sets out their policies for addressing harassment and sexual misconduct
• The Sexual Misconduct Survey (SMS)

There will be opportunities to ask questions and engage in a discussion. Please note that speakers will not be able to answer questions about whether specific provider policies represent compliance with the condition as this would depend on contextual and other factors that they would not be able to adequately assess within the session.
