AoC Performance and Accountability Conference 2025

Within the last year, we have had a new government, a new Secretary of State, and new Minister for Skills. We’ve had numerous consultations, not least the recent Ofsted consultation. And we have a Treasury that is financially constrained. Riding the waves of change is nothing new for colleges but, in this conference, we aim to try and make sense of change and look at where we can support each other to meet current challenges.

Covering Ofsted inspection, funding changes and complexities and ongoing accountability measures, we will hear from key stakeholders across the sector. This online conference will provide an overview of the challenges and opportunities facing colleges in light of performance and accountability reforms, share best practice from colleges on local collaboration and on Ofsted pilots and discuss how we can ensure we get the balance right between strong FE accountability and reducing unnecessary bureaucracy for colleges.
