David Gallagher, Chief Executive Officer, NCFE

David Gallagher is Chief Executive Officer at NCFE, an educational charity and leader in vocational and technical learning. He is also the Vice Chair of the Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB). David has enjoyed a successful career in employment, education and skills for over 20 years. His diverse leadership experience spans public, private and charitable organisations within the sector. Throughout David’s career he has been focussed on delivering social impact, from frontline delivery in some of the most disadvantaged communities in the UK through to advising sector bodies and stakeholders on the development and delivery of new policy and programmes. Having initially joined NCFE as Managing Director of its EPA operations, David was appointed Chief Executive in 2019.
