Youth Social Action Mentor Impact Report 2023 - 2024

Due to the success of the Pears #iwill Youth Social Action Apprentice Programme, the Pears Foundation has funded a phase 2 of the programme.

The Youth Social Action Mentors were apprentices in phase 1 of the programme and have been sustained by their colleges to continue delivering youth social action, whilst supporting others through their journeys.

The mentors provide monthly 1:1 support to the apprentices and often visit their colleges to provide support. The mentors also provide training to the apprentices on areas they find challenging.

Not only do they provide support to apprentices across the programme, but they also provide support to the ambassador colleges too! The mentors provide a face-to-face training session to all Youth Social Action Ambassadors across the programme, whilst providing adhoc support throughout their journey.
