Wellbeing morning - case study by Youth Social Action Apprentice

Wellbeing morning

Case study by Anne Draper, apprentice at City of Bristol College and Weston College.

Anne Draper is a Youth Social Action Apprentice at City of Bristol College and Weston College. Anne delivers youth social action activities in both colleges whilst completing her Level 3 Youth Support Worker Qualification, which is delivered by Bolton College. This case study is on social action activity at Weston College.

In January Anne started working with a group of Level One Early Years Education Students. As they were not ready to go out on work experience, Anne got the chance to work with them to develop a social action project instead. Initially, Anne arranged two 90 minute sessions to explain what social action is and to find out what was important to them. This was the first project Anne had started with a group of learners where she had no idea what project they wanted to do.
