Charlotte Smith is a Youth Social Action Apprentice at Long Road Sixth Form College, Luton Sixth Form College and Cambridge Regional College. Charlotte delivers youth social action activities in all three college whilst completing her Level 3 Youth Support Worker Qualification, which is delivered by Bolton College. This case study is on social action activity at Long Road Sixth Form College and Luton Sixth Form College.

In this election year, it is more crucial than ever to highlight the importance of voting to young people. As of February 2024, only 16% of 16–17-year-olds and 60% of 18–19-year-olds were registered to vote. Moreover, during the 2019 general election, just over half of 18–24year-olds turned out to vote.
