Youth Social Action Ambassador Programme Impact Report 2023-2024

Youth Social Action Ambassador Programme Impact Report 2023-2024

This year, AoC recruited 10 member colleges to become Youth Social Action Ambassador Colleges. The colleges recruited 5-8 students to become Youth Social Action Ambassadors who designed, planned and delivered a project on cause they are most passionate about.

The Ambassador Colleges were supported throughout the programme by a Youth Social Action Mentor, who were Apprentices in phase 1 of the programme. The Youth Social Action Mentors provided training to the Ambassadors on what social action is and how to deliver a high quality successful project. The Ambassadors met regularly with their support staff within their college to discuss the progress of their projects and any specific challenges.

Once projects were complete the Ambassadors from across each college attended a network event in June 2023, where they were able to celebrate their success, personal achievements and impact they have created on their peers, college and the local community. The Ambassadors received a digital certificate to keep as a reminder of everything that have achieved. In this impact report you will see the impact created on the Youth Social Action Ambassadors and their local communities.
