GCSE Resits Hub Project

A team at the University of Warwick, in partnership with the Association of Colleges and the Centre for Education and Youth have been developing a new project focusing on post-16 GCSE resits. The project explores approaches for connecting practice, research and policy in this area in order to support improved outcomes for resit learners.

This work follows on from the recent Education Endowment Foundation practice review on GCSE resits and includes three key strands of activity. The first includes the development of an online hub for bringing together existing research and practice-focused insights around resits. The second strand is a series of online ‘spotlight’ professional development sessions, and the third focuses on contributing to ongoing policy-related discussions and debates around GCSE resits. If you’d like to find out more, please visit the project website here or follow us on LinkedIn or X.
