Dear World

Dear World

I have been here in the UK for about a month, and I have learned so much.

The streets are covered in people pushed up against walls, doorways, and benches. They are wrapped up in sleeping bags, hats, and extremely dirty clothing. When they beg for money, people just walk off. They are a burden to this country and society. The police move them away instead of helping and the government is exacerbating the situation by not controlling inflation and not supporting those that are struggling.

There is an anger that lingers around the UK like a disease. Everywhere you go people are rude, disrespectful, and negative. Positivity, happiness, and kindness are rare.

Here, people don’t care about their country. The streets are a massive rubbish tip: bins are overflowing; bags are dumped on pavements; dog excrement is left on the street or hanging from trees, and unsafe things such as broken glass and discarded syringes are left putting people at risk of injury.

My message to the world is we need to start caring about our home and our planet. We need to fix it.
