Ofsted Inspection Support
The AoC is able to offer support in preparation for inspection, when you receive the call, during inspection and post inspection.
This includes in-year data analysis using RCU Mides benchmarked data, insights into areas of current inspection focus/emerging themes and direct support if issues occur during inspection.
Level of support and feedback
Since 2022, we have supported 216 AoC member colleges
Feedback from colleges for the support has been 100% very good or good
AoC’s response to Ofsted’s Survey The Big Listen
The response has been drafted in collaboration with AoC member colleges and is based on their reflections and concerns around Ofsted inspections. The Big Listen was launched by His Majesty’s Chief Inspector, Sir Martyn Oliver, with the promise of transparency and openness to rebuild and strengthen confidence in Ofsted and inspection.
