Mary Malcolm

Mary has experience of FE, HE and sixth form college governance, as independent governor, independent director and Chair, in addition to experience as a charity trustee and a company director. Her executive career in higher and further education (UK and international) has included responsibility for academic standards and quality (including TEF), research and consultancy, HR and Trades Union relations, and academic partnerships, and she has extensive executive and governance experience of the challenges of integrating the governance of FE and HE. Her experience as an AoC external Board reviewer covers specialist and general FE Colleges, sixth form colleges, and the governance of an FE-HE group structure.
