Joanne Platt

Joanne has worked in the public sector for her entire career, rising to Director level before becoming self-employed. She has specialised in corporate governance for many years, within local authorities, the NHS and the FE College sector and has also been responsible for developing governance arrangements for multi-million-pound collaborative projects within the North West of England. She has been Company Secretary at a large NHS Foundation Trust and Director of Governance / Clerk at five colleges and has significant experience of sectoral and external regulatory frameworks, peer review and inspection. She is politically astute with strong leadership, communication, and project management skills and has significant experience of corporate strategy development and corporate performance management in the public sector.
