Elton D’Souza

Elton is a seasoned business veteran with over 30 years’ experience in the IT sector, working with customers in the finance and government sectors. He now follows a passion for education as the key enabler for social mobility and increased productivity in our society. He is currently Chair of an FE College and Multi Academy Trust (MAT) which form a collective of post16 education providers, sharing the same strategic aims to provide outstanding vocational and academic excellence to over 15,000 students across the eastern region. Prior to this, Elton chaired a local authority maintained school and a sixth form college. Elton is a National Leader of Governance (NLG) in both the FE and Schools sectors, working for the FE Commissioner and National Governance Association respectively. He delivers active support and external reviews of governance against DfE set standards. Elton has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Warwick University.
