The Post-18 education and funding review
18 June 2019
The government's Post-18 education and funding review is great opportunity to re-balance the system of further and higher education which has developed over the last 20 years. The current system in England has some successes but several failures. The colleges represented by AoC would like to work with government and others in the education system to make changes so that more young people and adults benefit and to ensure that there are opportunities to learn and re-train over careers that may span 50 years. We have therefore prepeared a consultation document setting out some of the issue and proposals. This is available for download below.
We are keen to hear from members and from other stakeholders over the next two months with a view to refining the arguments and evidence base for a final publication at the end of the summer. Please make your comments known to Julian Gravatt by 18 July 2018.
