Preventing Illegal Working

The Home Office has published new guidance for employers on preventing illegal working. This guidance is aimed at employers needing to conduct ‘right to work checks’ on employees starting after 16 May 2014, or repeat checks on existing employees. It explains how employers should undertake these checks and includes details on the penalties that employers face if they fail to do so.
