AoC’s guidance - Managing employment issues arising from major sporting events aims to assist colleges to think about the impact that the Games could have on the working environment. It aims to assist colleges with preparation and planning to minimise potential workplace disruption as a result of the Games and to ensure that business needs and service delivery are not compromised. It focuses predominately on the employment issues which may arise as a result of major sporting events, including areas such as managing competing annual leave requests, performance and conduct issues, and how to motivate and engage staff. The guidance is also available from the advice and guidance section of the website.
