ACER merges with AoC
20 May 2019
The Association of Colleges in the Eastern Region (ACER) has merged with the Association of Colleges (AoC), further formalising the partnership that has thrived for nearly two decades.
AoC East will provide a range of AoC core services and, for a period of 12 months, additional ACER legacy activities including project work, practitioner networks and bespoke English and maths support.
Several ACER staff have moved across to the AoC as part of the merger and they will continue to deliver the legacy activities as well as some of the AoC Core service support.
Kirsti Lord, Deputy Chief Executive of the Association of Colleges, said:“In the AoC review last year, members said they wanted improved consistency of service and the merger brings us closer to this goal.
“I’d like to thank everyone at ACER for their tireless work to make the move seamless. I look forward to working more closely with members and staff to continue provide a high-quality offer.”
