Savannah Marshall studied Level 3 Sport and completed a foundation degree in sports coaching and exercise at Hartlepool College of Further Education.

Savannah is a British professional boxer, a world champion, who has had an impressive career with numerous personal achievements in both amateur and professional boxing.

She began boxing aged 12, when she joined a local Hartlepool Headland club after seeing a boy showing off his trophy on the street and decided she wanted one. She went to her local boxing club with two of her girlfriends however her friends only went once and decided not to go back. The club did not have female facilities at this time hence no girls trained there, and they had constantly tried to discourage her from joining. However, Savannah had other ideas and her resilience paid off along with hard work to get her to the top of her game.
