Applications for the FE Hall of Fame 2024 will open on 9 September 2024. You can find all the information you need to submit an application below. If you have any questions, please contact awards@aoc.coc.uk.
Who can nominate?
Nominations must originate from the college where the nominee completed their qualification and for a minimum of one year.
Each college group is limited to one nomination per year.
Nominations can come from colleges across all Four Nations, you don’t have to be an AoC member to nominate!
Commitment of nominees
Nominees must commit to:
- Being an ambassador and advocate of FE
- Being a role model for students and other alumni as well as potentially to employers if appropriate
- Participate in media promotions and AoC events
- Supporting campaigns and meetings to advance the FE sector.
Qualification criteria for AoC FE Hall of Fame consideration
Candidates must demonstrate:
- Recent impact: Evidence of significant engagement and achievements, with tangible impact within the last academic year in their college and community.
- Future plans: A clear strategy for ongoing involvement with their college and community.
- Diversity: Representation of the FE sector, contributing meaningfully at local or national levels.
- Inspirational stories: Achievements that motivate the next generation.
