FE Hall of Fame

Originally launched in 1996, the AoC Gold Awards celebrated the remarkable achievements of further education alumni for 21 years. After taking a break in 2017, we are excited to reintroduce these awards under a new name: the FE Hall of Fame.

The FE Hall of Fame honours outstanding contributions made by further education alumni. Colleges across the country are invited to nominate individuals who have completed qualifications at their institutions.

Each year, up to three alumni will be selected, highlighting those who have become true champions of the further education sector. We are seeking nominations for alumni who have had recent, instrumental, tangible links with their college. Who have made substantial contributions to their sector, continue to influence FE positively and create role models of success that are rooted in colleges.

Being inducted into the FE Hall of Fame recognises individuals for their impactful contributions to their field or community. It not only celebrates the alumni but also brings national recognition to the colleges that helped shape their success.

Applications for the FE Hall of Fame 2024 are now closed and we will be announcing the winners in December. 2025 applications will open in summer 2025. If you have any questions, please contact awards@aoc.co.uk.
