What we do

Sixth form colleges provide high-quality academic education to 16 to 18-year-olds enabling them to progress to university or higher level vocational education.

Our work with sixth form colleges (SFCs) can be divided into four main areas:

  1. Representation in discussions with Government officials and officers from a range of agencies
  2. Advocate their work to politicians of all parties, local authorities, the press and media
  3. Inform their work by sharing information and good practice through workshops, seminars and specialist briefings
  4. Advise them through a regular programme of visits, written briefings and specialist services
